Some consoles want to be the centerpiece of the interior. This one was built to disappear into it. Fesler USA just released the 1967-69 1st Gen Camaro Low Profile Fiberglass Console, a lower, slimmer take on our proven first-gen center console, hand-built in our Phoenix, Arizona shop and shipping now.
Why a low profile center console for a first gen Camaro?
The 1967, 1968, and 1969 Camaro cabin was never a wide place. Put a tall, full-height console down the middle and you split the interior in two. The low profile console takes the opposite approach. It hugs the transmission tunnel, keeps sightlines across the cabin open, and lets your seats, door panels, and dash read as one continuous design instead of two halves separated by a wall of console.
For pro touring and restomod builds where the interior needs to look intentional from every angle, that lower stance is the difference between a console that fits the car and a console that fights it.
What you get
The console is molded from durable fiberglass with a smooth gel coat surface that is ready for upholstery or paint the day it arrives. Even with the slimmer silhouette, it keeps the storage that makes a console worth having: a hinged lid up top and a built-in glove box, with metal internal supports underneath so it feels solid, not hollow.
- Low profile fiberglass console base with smooth gel coat finish
- Hinged lid
- Metal internal supports
- Built-in glove box
Your shifter, your call
The shifter opening ships uncut, and that is by design. No two first gen builds run the same drivetrain anymore. Manual, automatic floor shifter, column-to-floor conversion, whatever your car runs, you measure and cut the opening exactly where it needs to be. Our shop can also make minor alterations or modifications within reason for a small fee. Contact us before ordering and we will talk through your build.
Part of the Fesler first gen interior system
Like every Fesler interior piece, the low profile console is designed to run alongside the rest of the first gen lineup: the standard fiberglass console for builds that want more presence, the steel center console for full custom fabrication, plus A-pillars and the package tray. Every piece is designed together and built in Phoenix, so the interior comes out looking like one system, not a parts-bin collection.
Pricing and availability
The 1967-69 Camaro Low Profile Fiberglass Console is available now at an introductory $799, down from $899. Fesler stocks most interior parts in Phoenix, and standard orders ship within 1 to 3 business days. Customization options or backorders can extend the lead time, and we will reach out if there is a delay on your order.
