FIVE PIECES. A-PILLARS TO PACKAGE TRAY. ONE BUILD.
CAD-MODELED, HAND-LAID, AND GEL-COATED IN ARIZONA.

Why builders choose the Fesler Chevelle full interior kit

  • CAD-modeled fiberglass construction: Every piece starts with a digital model for consistent geometry and repeatable fitment. Not hand-sketched. Not approximated from a worn original.
  • Designed as a complete system: All five pieces were developed together. A-pillars to package tray, doors to kick panels. Every profile and transition was drawn to work with the others.
  • Smooth gel-coat across every piece: Consistent finish on all five components. Your upholstery shop gets the same surface quality on the A-pillars as they do on the door panels.
  • Full cabin coverage: Replaces every major factory surface from windshield pillar to rear deck. Eliminates the seams, gaps, and low-coverage areas that make stock Chevelle interiors look unfinished next to a serious build.
  • Arizona-built with in-house QC: Every piece is inspected before it ships. No third-party fulfillment. No outsourced components.
  • Custom wrap available in-house: Fesler can wrap and finish the entire kit in leather, vinyl, or suede with custom stitching and detailing. Contact us for a quote.

Fitment

  • Primary application: 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, and 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle 2-door hardtop and coupe.
  • Trim levels: Malibu, SS, and similar configurations that retain the factory-style cockpit layout.
  • Body style: Designed for 2-door hardtop and coupe only.
  • 1968–1969 door panel note: The door panels in this kit require a rear door adapter for 1968 and 1969 applications. The adapter is included. Specify your model year at checkout.
  • Modified cars: Prior restorations, patch panels, and non-OE repair work can affect how individual pieces seat. Test-fit every piece before committing to upholstery or paint.

Sedan and convertible owners: this kit does not directly fit.

This kit is designed for the 1968–1972 Chevelle 2-door hardtop and coupe platform. Sedan and convertible configurations have different interior dimensions and will require modification, particularly for the A-pillar panels and rear package tray. Contact us before ordering if you are building on a non-standard body.

Test-fit before you finish. Every A-body has its own history. Prior bodywork, rust repair, and non-OE restoration work can affect how individual pieces seat. Always test-fit every piece before wrapping or painting.

Installation

  • Skill level: Intermediate to advanced. This is a full interior replacement across five pieces. Plan your install sequence before you start. Recommended order: A-pillars, door panels, kick panels, console, package tray.
  • Test-fitting: Required on all five pieces before upholstery or paint. Pay particular attention to the A-pillar panels, which need to align with both the windshield surround and the headliner edge.
  • Tools required: Basic hand tools for standard bolt-on applications. Minor trimming tools for final fitment adjustments on cars with body history.
  • Console note: Modifications may be required for custom shifter, cupholder, or switch configurations. Plan your layout before sending panels to your upholstery shop.
  • Professional installation strongly recommended for final fitment, A-pillar alignment, upholstery work, speaker wiring, and power window integration.

Shipping

  • All five pieces are inspected, finished, packaged, and shipped in-house from Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Ships as oversize freight due to door panel and A-pillar dimensions. Weight is listed as dimensional weight for shipping purposes.
  • Lead time may apply on full kit orders. Contact us before ordering if your build has a hard deadline.

Frequently asked questions

What years and body styles does this kit fit?

This kit fits the 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, and 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle 2-door hardtop and coupe. It does not directly fit sedan or convertible configurations without modification to the A-pillar panels and rear package tray.

Does this kit replace all factory interior panels?

Yes. This kit covers every major interior surface: A-pillar panels, door panels, kick panels, floor console, and rear package tray. When installed, none of the original factory panel surfaces remain visible in the main cabin.

Will this fit my Chevelle SS or Malibu?

Yes. This kit is designed around the 1968–1972 Chevelle 2-door hardtop and coupe platform across Malibu, SS, and similar trim levels that retain the factory-style cockpit layout.

Do 1968 and 1969 models need special consideration?

Yes. The door panels included in this kit require a rear door adapter for 1968 and 1969 Chevelle applications. The adapter is included in your order. Specify your model year at checkout so the correct adapter ships with the kit.

Will trimming be required?

Most installations require only minor adjustments. Cars with prior bodywork, rust repair, or non-OE restoration work may need extra trimming on individual pieces. The A-pillar panels in particular should be test-fit against both the windshield surround and the headliner edge before any finishing work is done.

Can Fesler wrap and finish the panels for me?

Yes. Fesler offers in-house wrap and finishing in leather, vinyl, or suede with custom stitching, inserts, and detailing tailored to your Chevelle build. Contact us with your build details and we will put together a complete custom interior quote.

Will this work with a custom audio setup or shifter console?

Yes, but modifications may be required depending on your shifter style, switch placement, cupholders, and audio components. Many builders integrate this kit with custom audio and console setups without issue. Plan your layout before sending panels to your upholstery shop.

If you can dream it, you can build it around these parts.

Fesler fiberglass and steel pieces are the structure. Your choice of leather, vinyl, colors and stitching is what turns them into a one-off interior that matches the rest of the build.

Materials
What you wrap it in.
Premium leather Automotive vinyl Alcantara / suede Painted or textured
Panels are built with smooth faces and strong edges so your upholsterer can wrap in leather, vinyl, suede or even paint and texture without fighting thin lips or odd shapes.
Color & layout
How the interior reads at a glance.
Two-tone breaks OEM-style neutrals High-contrast accents Color-matched inserts
Clean lines and defined sections make it easy to run OEM-style neutrals, loud show-car combos or simple two-tone layouts that still look intentional.
Stitching
Patterns and thread choices.
Contrast stitching Diamond patterns Pleats & horizontals Logo embroidery zones
Stitching lanes and flat pads are built into the design, so diamonds, pleats and simple contrast lines stay even from side to side instead of wandering.
Details
The small stuff that makes it yours.
Billet trim & pulls Perforated inserts Embossed logos Audio & lighting zones
Each system leaves room for badges, perforated or embossed inserts, billet pieces, speakers and lighting so you can tie the interior back to the wheels, paint and engine bay.
Work with your upholsterer or builder to spec materials, colors and stitching around your Fesler interior kit.
