1969–1970 Mustang Fastback Flush-Mount Glass Kit — DOT, American-Made
1969–1970 Ford Mustang Fastback — DOT Flush-Mount Trimless Glass Kit — American-Made
American-made: Designed, prototyped, molded, and manufactured in North America for OE-grade fit, clarity, and longevity.
Fesler Flush-Mount DOT glass gives 1969–1970 Mustang Fastbacks a modern trim-delete profile with OE-level fit. Each piece is prototype-built, molded, test-fit, manufactured, and test-fit again on multiple vehicles to deliver a clean, uniform reveal and a bonded, weather-tight install.
NO SANDING REQUIRED TO FIT. Some brands oversize glass and expect you to sand. Fesler prototypes, molds, test-fits, manufactures, and re-tests so your glass fits as delivered. You get what you pay for.
Fitment & inclusions
- Application: 1969–1970 Ford Mustang Fastback only.
- Does not fit: Coupe models (front and rear are different parts; these pieces will not fit coupes).
- Kit includes: Laminated windshield (front) + tempered rear glass.
- Not included: adhesives, primers, or installation labor/tools.
- Made in North America using the original Float Glass process (Pilkington lineage).
Why Fesler flush glass
- True flush-mount design: Purpose-sized glass bonds within the OE aperture with a tight, even gap.
- Trimless, rubberless perimeter: Uses a FRIT band + primer + automotive urethane — no exterior molding.
- Manufacturing pedigree: LOF-style mold strategy for factory-grade curvature and edge quality.
- Optics & UV: OE-style green hue; laminated windshield and tempered rear help block 99.9% UVA.
What is flush-mount glass?
Precisely sized glass sits within the OE opening with a tight, uniform reveal. It eliminates exterior trim and rubber weatherstrip and bonds in with an automotive FRIT band, primer, and high-strength urethane, producing an OE-style fit with no body modifications on most vehicles.
Polycarbonate vs. Laminated Automotive Glass — Know the Difference
Polycarbonate (“plastic”) windshields
- Not DOT-approved for public roads — not street legal for windshields.
- Prone to scratching, hazing, yellowing; wipers can mar the surface.
- Okay for track/off-road/display (where permitted), but not advised for street builds.
- Potential insurance and safety issues in a collision.
Laminated automotive glass (Fesler)
- DOT-approved laminated windshield for legal street use; tempered rear glass.
- Safety & clarity: resists penetration; remains intact under impact; superior optical quality.
- Durability: excellent scratch/UV resistance for long-term clarity.
- Model-specific fit for a clean, uniform reveal with our flush-bond system.

Important: Glass is non-returnable. If it doesn’t fit out of the crate, your vehicle may require body work. This is more common on some reproduction shells.
Dynacorn note: If you are using a Dynacorn body shell, our glass will not fit without substantial metal work and modification to the shell prior to install.
Shipping, billing & timing
- Ships via LTL truck freight due to size/weight (commercial address recommended for cost and ease).
- Freight is quoted individually after checkout; use our carrier or yours. International freight available (including Canada & Mexico).
- Authorization: All glass orders require a signed Credit Card Authorization Form. We do not charge until the order is ready to ship.
- Typical ship window: ~15–20 business days after we receive your signed form.
Installation & safety
- Professional installation only: We do not endorse DIY flush-glass installs. Use a certified auto-glass technician.
- Adhesive: Use automotive urethane with proper primers. Do not use butyl (~60 psi vs. ~600+ psi urethane systems).
- Test-fit policy: Test fit within 60 days of receipt to identify any vehicle-side work required. Warranty/replacement is not available after 60 days.
