A 1967 Chevelle SS we’ve dubbed the MALIBLU, and yeah, it’s spelled that way on purpose. This thing is all muscle, all attitude, and all Fesler.
Why MALIBLU?
Aside from the bold blue paint that catches your eye before you even hear it coming, this Chevelle has been completely overhauled into a pro-touring monster. We’re talking full frame-off resto-mod—modern power, suspension, interior, and braking, with that unmistakable old-school charm.
Let’s break it down:
- Heart of a Beast: Under the hood lives a fully built 6.0L GM LS, punched out to 427ci, paired with a Whipple supercharger. The sound? Aggressive. The power? Ridiculous.
- Modern Muscle: Backed by a Tremec Magnum 6-speed, it puts that torque to the ground via a Moser 4:11 rear end, giving it launch power that’ll pin you to the seat.
- All the Right Gear: Holley Terminator X, Wagner pulley system, Hydroboost brakes, billet radiator with dual electric fans—this thing isn’t just fast, it’s smart and cool (literally).
- Road-Ready: A full Hotchkis suspension setup keeps this old-school coupe planted. Combine that with massive Baer brakes, Schott wheels, and sticky tires, and you’re in for a thrill ride.
- Comfort Meets Custom: Inside, you’ll find a Fesler custom interior, Dakota Digital gauges, and Vintage Air AC, because power’s nothing without comfort.
