1968–1969 1st Gen Camaro — Full Interior Kit by Fesler (Console, Door Panels, Dash, Kick Panels, Package Tray, Headliner, A-Pillars)

This package gives your 1968–1969 1st Gen Camaro a complete interior overhaul using Arizona-made, hand-laid fiberglass components. Each piece is designed to replace the original panels with a cleaner, modern profile and ships in a smooth gel-coat surface that is ready to wrap or paint.

Fitment: Designed for 1968–1969 Chevy Camaro coupes (1st Gen). Not intended for convertibles without modification.

1967 owners: This kit can be adapted to 1967 Camaros, but you will need to modify the door panels for wing/vent windows or convert to 1968-style doors. The fiberglass dash panel in this kit is 1969-specific and will not directly fit 1967 or 1968 dashes.

What’s included in the kit

  • Fiberglass Console — modern-profile floor console engineered to work with popular shifter layouts and custom interiors.
  • Fesler Door Panels (pair) — full-coverage fiberglass door panels with clean, updated styling.
  • Dash Panel / Overlay — fiberglass dash panel designed around the 1969 Camaro dash to replace the factory dash surface with a smooth, cohesive look.
  • Kick Panels — precise-fitting fiberglass kick panels ready for upholstery or paint.
  • Package Tray Panel — rear package tray panel that cleans up the deck area and ties into the rest of the interior.
  • Headliner Panel — rigid fiberglass headliner that provides a tight, uniform finish overhead.
  • A-Pillar Trim Panels (pair) — fiberglass A-pillar covers that tie the dash and headliner together for a finished, modern look.

American-made quality: Every component is CAD-modeled, hand laid, and gel-coated in Arizona with consistent tooling and in-house standards.

Why builders choose Fesler interior components

  • CAD-modeled fiberglass construction for strength and repeatable geometry.
  • Smooth gel-coat finish arrives ready for upholstery, texture, or paint.
  • Modern, cohesive styling from the console to the headliner and A-pillars.
  • Full-coverage design cleans up factory gaps, seams, and low-coverage areas.
  • Arizona-built parts with in-house QC for consistent fitment.

Fitment & compatibility

  • Vehicles: 1968 and 1969 Chevy Camaro coupes (1st Gen). Can be adapted to 1967 Camaro bodies with door and dash considerations (see notes).
  • Trim levels: Base, RS, SS, Z/28, and similar configurations using the factory-style cockpit layout.
  • Body style: Designed for hardtop/coupe. Convertibles may require additional work to integrate the headliner and rear panels.
  • Dash compatibility: Supplied dash panel is 1969-specific. 1968 and 1967 cars will need to retain the factory dash or perform custom fabrication if using this dash panel.
  • Body-history note: Prior restorations, patch panels, and non-OE repair work can affect final alignment and may require extra adjustment.

Install expectations: As with all fiberglass interior components, plan for test-fitting and minor trimming to dial in your specific car. Every 1st Gen has its own history; final fit is always finished on the car.

Finish & installation

  • Ships in smooth gel-coat, ready for wrap, paint, or texture.
  • Expect standard test-fitting and fine-tuning for perfect alignment.
  • Follow standard upholstery or paint prep procedures for best results.

Custom upholstery available: Fesler can wrap and finish these panels in your choice of leather, vinyl, or suede with stitching, inserts, and details tailored to your build. Match your paint, door handles, speakers, and overall interior theme. Contact us for a custom 1st Gen Camaro interior quote.

What’s not included

  • Upholstery materials or labor (unless arranged as a custom interior package)
  • Speakers, audio components, switches, or electronics
  • Shifter mechanisms, consoles hardware, or mounting hardware for switches

Recommended add-ons: Fesler billet interior hardware (handles, window cranks or switch kits), custom seats, and matching Fesler Detail products to keep the interior and exterior looking sharp (all sold separately).

Common Questions

Does this replace my factory panels?
Yes. This kit is designed to replace the major interior panels with modern fiberglass pieces for a unified look.

Will it fit my RS/SS/Z/28?
Yes — it is designed around the 1st Gen Camaro coupe platform across trim levels that retain the factory-style cockpit.

Will this work on a 1967 Camaro?
This kit is optimized for 1968–1969. It can be used on a 1967, but you will need to modify the door panels for wing/vent windows or convert to 1968-style doors. The included dash panel is 1969-only and will not directly fit a 1967 dash frame.

Is trimming required?
Most installs require light trimming and test-fitting. Cars with prior bodywork or aftermarket parts may need extra adjustment.

Can these be wrapped?
Yes. All components ship in a smooth gel-coat ready for leather, vinyl, suede, texture, or paint. Fesler can also wrap and finish the kit in-house to match your build.

Will this work with my custom audio and console layout?
Yes, but modifications may be required for speaker locations, switches, cupholders, and shifters. Many builders integrate this kit with custom audio and console setups.

Materials
What you wrap it in.
Premium leather Automotive vinyl Alcantara / suede Painted or textured
Panels are built with smooth faces and strong edges so your upholsterer can wrap in leather, vinyl, suede or even paint and texture without fighting thin lips or odd shapes.
Color & layout
How the interior reads at a glance.
Two-tone breaks OEM-style neutrals High-contrast accents Color-matched inserts
Clean lines and defined sections make it easy to run OEM-style neutrals, loud show-car combos or simple two-tone layouts that still look intentional.
Stitching
Patterns and thread choices.
Contrast stitching Diamond patterns Pleats & horizontals Logo embroidery zones
Stitching lanes and flat pads are built into the design, so diamonds, pleats and simple contrast lines stay even from side to side instead of wandering.
Details
The small stuff that makes it yours.
Billet trim & pulls Perforated inserts Embossed logos Audio & lighting zones
Each system leaves room for badges, perforated or embossed inserts, billet pieces, speakers and lighting so you can tie the interior back to the wheels, paint and engine bay.
Work with your upholsterer or builder to spec materials, colors and stitching around your Fesler interior kit.
