In Stock & Shipping Now. Every piece built, inspected, packaged, and shipped from our Phoenix shop.

Fits: 1968 and 1969 Chevrolet Camaro coupe (first generation) — Base, RS, SS, and Z/28 trim levels with factory-style cockpit layout.

1967 owners: This kit can be adapted to a 1967 Camaro, but door panels require modification for wing windows or a conversion to 1968-style doors. The dash panel in this kit is 1969-specific and will not directly fit a 1967 or 1968 dash frame.

The Fesler USA 1968–1969 first-gen Camaro full interior kit is a seven-piece, complete cabin overhaul in a single order. Console, door panels, dash overlay, kick panels, package tray, headliner, and A-pillars. Every major interior surface. CAD-modeled, hand-laid fiberglass built in Phoenix, Arizona and finished in smooth gel-coat across every piece. Designed as a system from day one so the transitions, profiles, and surfaces all speak the same language. Drop it in your first-gen and the cabin looks like a finished build, not a collection of parts from seven different vendors.

SEVEN PIECES. EVERY SURFACE. ONE BUILD.
CAD-MODELED, HAND-LAID, AND GEL-COATED IN ARIZONA.

Why builders choose the Fesler first-gen Camaro full interior kit

  • CAD-modeled fiberglass construction: Every piece starts with a digital model for consistent geometry and repeatable fitment across every surface in the kit.
  • Designed as a complete system: All seven pieces were developed together. Console to headliner, dash to A-pillars. Every edge, transition, and surface profile was drawn to work with the others. Nothing was added as an afterthought.
  • Smooth gel-coat across every piece: Consistent finish on all seven components. Your upholstery shop gets the same surface quality on the headliner as they do on the kick panels.
  • Full cabin coverage: Eliminates factory gaps, seams, and low-coverage areas. Console, doors, dash, lower kick area, rear package tray, overhead headliner, and A-pillars are all replaced.
  • Arizona-built with in-house QC: Every piece is inspected before it ships. No third-party fulfillment. No outsourced components.
  • Custom wrap available in-house: Fesler can wrap and finish the entire kit in leather, vinyl, or suede with custom stitching and detailing. Contact us for a quote.

What's included in the kit

Fiberglass Console

Modern-profile floor console engineered to work with popular shifter layouts and custom interior configurations. Gel-coat finish ready for upholstery or paint. Modifications may be required for custom shifter, cupholder, or switch setups.

Door Panels (pair)

Full-coverage fiberglass front door panels designed for the 1968 and 1969 Camaro coupe. Designed to house 6.5" speakers and accept Fesler billet door handles. Morel speaker kits and power window kits available as add-ons. See the individual door panel listing for full detail.

Dash Overlay — 1969-Specific

Fiberglass dash panel designed around the 1969 Camaro dash structure. Drops over the factory dash and bolts on. Designed to accept the Fesler cluster insert, Dakota Digital gauges, and billet AC vents. This dash panel is 1969-specific. 1968 and 1967 applications require custom fabrication or retention of the factory dash.

Kick Panels (pair)

Precise-fitting fiberglass lower panels designed to pair with the Fesler door panels. Ready for upholstery or paint. Compatible with speaker installations. See the individual kick panel listing for speaker size and fitment details.

Package Tray Panel

Rear package tray panel that cleans up the deck area behind the rear seat. Ties into the headliner and A-pillars to complete the rear cabin. Gel-coat finish ready for upholstery or liner material.

Headliner Panel

Rigid fiberglass headliner designed for a tight, uniform overhead fit in the first-gen Camaro coupe. Gel-coat finish ready for upholstery or headliner material. Convertibles may require additional work to integrate this panel.

A-Pillar Trim Panels (pair)

Fiberglass A-pillar covers that bridge the dash and headliner for a finished, modern cockpit. Raw or covered. Compatible with factory OE A-pillar pads.

Not included: Upholstery materials or labor, speakers, audio components, switches, electronics, shifter mechanisms, console hardware, or mounting hardware for custom configurations.

Recommended add-ons to complete the build:

Fesler billet door handles (multiple finishes), Fesler cluster insert, power window kits with GM motors, 4-way switch kit, Morel speaker kits, Dakota Digital gauge cluster, and Fesler billet AC vents. All available separately or bundled through individual product listings.

Important: All panels ship raw in gel-coat finish.

It is the customer's responsibility to have all panels upholstered or painted to match their interior, unless ordering with Fesler's in-house wrap service. Professional installation is recommended.

Custom upholstery — Fesler in-house wrap service

You do not have to source your own upholstery shop. Fesler can wrap and finish the entire kit in-house in your choice of leather, vinyl, or suede with custom stitching, inserts, and detailing tailored to your build.

Fitment

  • Primary application: 1968 and 1969 Chevrolet Camaro coupe, first generation.
  • Trim levels: Base, RS, SS, and Z/28 configurations using the factory-style cockpit layout.
  • Body style: Designed for hardtop coupe. Convertibles may require additional work to integrate the headliner and rear panels.
  • Dash panel note: The included dash overlay is 1969-specific. 1968 applications will need to retain the factory dash or perform custom fabrication if integrating the supplied dash panel.

1967 Camaro owners: read before ordering.

This kit is optimized for 1968 and 1969 Camaros. It can be adapted to a 1967 body, but the door panels require modification to clear wing windows, or your doors need to be converted to 1968-style. The dash panel included in this kit is 1969-specific and will not directly fit a 1967 dash frame. Contact us before ordering if you are building a 1967.

Test-fit before you finish. Every first-gen Camaro has its own history. Prior restorations, patch panels, and non-OE repair work can affect how individual pieces seat. Always test-fit every piece before committing to upholstery or paint.

Installation

  • Skill level: Intermediate to advanced. This is a full interior replacement across seven pieces. Plan your install sequence before you start. Recommended order: dash, A-pillars, headliner, door panels, kick panels, package tray, console.
  • Test-fitting: Required on all seven pieces before upholstery or paint. Do not skip this step on any piece, including the headliner and package tray.
  • Tools required: Basic hand tools for standard bolt-on applications. Minor trimming tools for final fitment adjustments.
  • Console note: Modifications may be required for custom shifter, cupholder, or switch configurations. Many builders integrate this console with custom audio and electronics setups.
  • Professional installation strongly recommended for final fitment, upholstery work, gauge installation, speaker wiring, and power window integration.

Shipping

  • All seven pieces are inspected, finished, packaged, and shipped in-house from Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Ships as oversize freight due to headliner and door panel dimensions. Weight is listed as dimensional weight for shipping purposes.
  • Lead time may apply on full kit orders. Contact us before ordering if your build has a hard deadline.

Frequently asked questions

Does this kit fit all first-gen Camaro trim levels?

Yes. This kit is designed around the 1968 and 1969 Chevrolet Camaro coupe platform across Base, RS, SS, and Z/28 trim levels that retain the factory-style cockpit layout.

Will this kit work on a 1967 Camaro?

This kit is optimized for 1968 and 1969 Camaros. A 1967 application is possible but requires modification to the door panels for wing windows or a conversion to 1968-style doors. The dash panel included in this kit is 1969-specific and will not directly fit a 1967 dash frame. Contact us before ordering if you are building on a 1967 body.

Does this kit replace all factory interior panels?

Yes. This kit covers every major interior surface: console, door panels, dash overlay, kick panels, package tray, headliner, and A-pillar trim panels. When installed, none of the original factory panel surfaces remain visible in the main cabin.

Will the dash panel fit my 1968 Camaro?

The dash overlay included in this kit is 1969-specific. On a 1968 Camaro, you will need to retain the factory dash or perform custom fabrication to integrate the supplied dash panel. Contact us before ordering if you are building a 1968 and want to confirm the best approach.

Can Fesler wrap and finish the panels for me?

Yes. Fesler offers in-house wrap and finishing in leather, vinyl, or suede with custom stitching, inserts, and detailing tailored to your build. Contact us with your build details and we will put together a custom interior quote.

Will trimming be required?

Most installations require only minor adjustments. Cars with prior bodywork, patch panels, or non-OE restoration work may need extra trimming on individual pieces. Always test-fit every piece before committing to upholstery or paint.

Will this work with a custom audio and console layout?

Yes, but modifications may be required depending on your shifter style, switch placement, cupholders, and audio components. Many builders integrate this kit with custom audio and electronics setups without issue. Plan your layout before sending panels to your upholstery shop.

Materials
What you wrap it in.
Premium leather Automotive vinyl Alcantara / suede Painted or textured
Panels are built with smooth faces and strong edges so your upholsterer can wrap in leather, vinyl, suede or even paint and texture without fighting thin lips or odd shapes.
Color & layout
How the interior reads at a glance.
Two-tone breaks OEM-style neutrals High-contrast accents Color-matched inserts
Clean lines and defined sections make it easy to run OEM-style neutrals, loud show-car combos or simple two-tone layouts that still look intentional.
Stitching
Patterns and thread choices.
Contrast stitching Diamond patterns Pleats & horizontals Logo embroidery zones
Stitching lanes and flat pads are built into the design, so diamonds, pleats and simple contrast lines stay even from side to side instead of wandering.
Details
The small stuff that makes it yours.
Billet trim & pulls Perforated inserts Embossed logos Audio & lighting zones
Each system leaves room for badges, perforated or embossed inserts, billet pieces, speakers and lighting so you can tie the interior back to the wheels, paint and engine bay.
Work with your upholsterer or builder to spec materials, colors and stitching around your Fesler interior kit.
