The Arizona Concours d'Elegance lands in the middle on Sunday, January 24, and RM Sotheby's sells at the Arizona Biltmore on Friday, January 29. Arizona Car Week starts announcing the rest of the lineup, from cars and coffee meets to evening cruises, on November 3.
That last part matters. A lot of what makes Car Week fun is the smaller stuff: shop open houses, morning meets, group drives. None of the 2027 versions of those are posted yet, so this guide sticks to what the organizers have actually published as of early October 2026. What is Arizona Car Week 2027?
Arizona Car Week is the run of collector car auctions, concours, shows and meets that fills Scottsdale and the rest of the Valley every January. The official Arizona Car Week site bills itself as the guide to the week's auctions and events. For 2027 it lists the week as January 22 to 31 and says its first event announcements drop on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
It is not one ticket or one venue. Each event is run by its own organizer, with its own tickets, hours and rules. So the smart move is to pick your anchor events now, then fill in the gaps once the meets and cruises are posted in November.

Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2027: nine days at WestWorld
The big change for 2027 is length. Barrett-Jackson has announced that its Scottsdale auction will run nine days of live auction action, from Saturday, January 23 through Sunday, January 31, 2027, at WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N. Pima Rd. Barrett-Jackson calls the nine-day format new for 2027, and it covers two full weekends. Old Cars Weekly reported that the company expanded the schedule because consignment demand outgrew the old format, and that the docket will be well over 2,000 collector vehicles.
Event listings also call out a food festival, the exhibitor marketplace, sponsor displays and thrill rides. Ticket prices and daily hours for 2027 were not posted in a form we could confirm, so check barrett-jackson.com before you go.
A few things worth knowing if you are going to look, not bid:
- Nine days means you can pick your crowd. The weekends will be the busiest. A weekday gives you more room to walk the lots and actually study builds.
- Walk the display tents slowly. Panel gaps, glass fit, interior stitching and how the trim lines up tell you more about a build than the auction description does.
- If you are thinking about selling at a future auction, take notes on what the cleanest cars have in common. It is usually the finish details, not the horsepower number.

Arizona Concours d'Elegance 2027: 80 years of Ferrari
The Arizona Concours d'Elegance is the quiet, judged side of the week. For 2027 it is Sunday, January 24, at the newly renovated Scottsdale Civic Center, and the theme is 80 Years of Ferrari. The organizers describe it as a curated and judged exhibition of collector cars, and it supports the arts through its partnership with Scottsdale Arts.
Gates open at 9:00 a.m., and awards start at 2:00 p.m. Here is the ticket pricing posted on the official site:
- Early bird general admission (through November 30): $85, or $97.50 with fees.
- Regular general admission (December 1 through event day): $100, or $112.50 with fees.
- Concours PLUS, which adds the Saturday Seminars and Dawn Patrol early access: $110 early bird and $125 regular, before fees.
- Students 13 to 18 with ID pay $50 for general admission or $60 for Concours PLUS, before fees. Active military with ID and kids 12 and under get in free.
- The Saturday Seminar Series is January 23, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., in the Civic Center Library Auditorium, for $25 plus fees.
If you are going on the early bird price, the cutoff is November 30.
RM Sotheby's, Bonhams and the other Scottsdale auctions
RM Sotheby's Arizona: January 29 at the Arizona Biltmore
RM Sotheby's lists The Arizona Auction for Friday, January 29, 2027, at The Arizona Biltmore, 2400 E Missouri Ave in Phoenix. RM says 2027 marks its 29th consecutive year holding a sale during Arizona Car Week. Preview times and admission rules were not on the auction page yet when we checked, so look there before you plan around a preview.
Bonhams|Cars Scottsdale
We could not confirm a 2027 Scottsdale date from Bonhams directly, so treat it as not announced at publish time and check cars.bonhams.com before you plan around it.
Gooding Christie's, Broad Arrow, Worldwide and Russo and Steele
Gooding Christie's current calendar lists Retromobile New York (November 20 and 21, 2026), Paris (February 4, 2027) and Amelia Island (March 4 and 5, 2027), with no Arizona sale. We also checked Broad Arrow, Worldwide Auctioneers and Russo and Steele and could not confirm a 2027 Arizona sale on their sites. If any of them add one, the Arizona Car Week calendar is the easiest place to catch it.
Cars and coffee, cruises and meets during Car Week
This is the part of the week most builders remember, and it is the part that is not posted yet. The Arizona Car Week site says event announcements start November 3, so check back then for the 2027 meets, drives and open houses.
One regular you can plan around now is Mesa Cars and Coffee. It runs every third Saturday from September through April, 7:00 to 10:00 a.m., at 1850 S. Val Vista Dr. in Mesa (Village Square at Dana Park), and admission is free. Their 2026-27 season calendar lists January 16, the weekend before Car Week opens, and February 20, the same morning as Concours in the Hills. Confirm on their site before you load up.
Concours in the Hills 2027 and the rest of the season
Car season in the Valley does not stop when Barrett-Jackson closes. Concours in the Hills is Saturday, February 20, 2027, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Fountain Park, 12925 N Saguaro Blvd. in Fountain Hills. It is free for spectators and benefits Phoenix Children's. If you want to show a car, the posted registration runs $75 to $95 for vehicles and $35 to $45 for motorcycles, depending on when you register.
This one is close to our hearts. Our OBS shop truck took home People's Choice at Concours in the Hills in 2026, and the interior is what people kept leaning in to look at.
After that, Goodguys brings the 17th FiTech Fuel Injection Spring Nationals to WestWorld of Scottsdale on March 12 and 13, 2027, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days.
Planning tips: hotels, timing and the Phoenix Open
- Know where things are. WestWorld is in north Scottsdale, the Civic Center is in Old Town, and the Arizona Biltmore is in Phoenix. Do not plan a Barrett-Jackson morning and a Biltmore preview with no buffer.
- Watch the Phoenix Open. The 2027 WM Phoenix Open is February 8 to 14 at TPC Scottsdale, about a week after Car Week. If your trip runs into February, book your room with that in mind.
- Pick one anchor per day. An auction, a concours or a big meet. Then add nearby stops around it once the November announcements are out.
- Dress for both ends of the day. Early meets and late cruises feel very different from midday on an open lot. Layers, water and sunscreen.

January is close. If your car is going to a show field or onto an auction block, the details are what people photograph: how the glass meets the paint, how the door panels fit, how the interior holds up to someone sitting in it.
